The old Watch Battery Identification:

This adapter is inserted along with a 357 watch battery.
The housing of the adapter is turned from POM and the core is made of aluminium.
You can also use an LR44 button battery or hearing aid battery 675.
Of course, this combination does not last as long as the original obsolete mercury battery, but it is a cheaper option compared to the sometimes faulty and expensive replacement batteries.
